Aziz El Badaoui
Creative Director
Known for his creative vision and amazing skill, Aziz brings international styling experience to his salon. Fluent in English, French and Arabic, Aziz presents an extraordinary hair styling and training background.
Aziz studied and worked for the international French Hair Salon Jacque Dessange in Casablanca, Morocco and Paris, France. His makeup and hair styling education continued at Ecole Privee De Maquillage, Casablanca and with Jean-Pierre Fleurimon in Paris. Further hair cutting training with Camille Albane took place in Madrid, Spain. Aziz took additional training in Milan, Italy focusing on coloring and hair cutting techniques. Desiring hair and makeup training in special services for brides, bridal parties, and stage event models or “Up do Training,” Aziz took these additional courses with Espace Somibele in Madrid.
After returning to Morocco to spend one and a half years at Cloud Maxime, he made the move to the United States where he received still more training with the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy and the Aveda Institute in New York City.
He feels his specialty is hair-cutting and blow drying, but has learned all facets of the hair salon trade, ranging from head massage to hair-relaxer techniques to customer service and salon management. Aziz’s hair styling philosophy focuses on pleasing and advising the client by understanding their needs and keeping up with the latest hair styling trends and color techniques.
Born in Panama, Charlene Andersson is a wife, mother, stylist and makeup artist.
She's a well-rounded salon professional and handles a variety of services including makeup and hairstyling. She is always composed, punctual and listens intently, resulting in excellent service for each and every one of her guests.
She was originally trained in Panama with her brother, who has over 20 years of experience in the industry.
She was trained with top brands and earned a Color Certification with L'Oréal. Charlene also has international education in France, Spain, Mexico, and the USA.
She is competitive and innovative, always striving to improve her skills. Every day, Charlene displays her love for what she does.
Debra Edinger is a master stylist at Casa Aziz, where she specializes in hair color and cutting.
As a master colorist, Debra employs methods and techniques acquired by training at L’Oréal, Framesi and Redken; she has also studied balayage and hair painting with the Ted Gibson artistic team. Through continued participation in leading institutes such as Vidal Sassoon, Paul Mitchell, and Arrojo, Debra regularly hones her expert haircutting skills.
Prior to joining Casa Aziz in 2011, Debra owned two salons in Princeton, One Cut Beyond and Salon Vis a Visa, which allowed her to forge close relationships with clients in the Princeton community. By listening closely to her clients’ hair concerns, Debra strives to design a style that both updates their look and fulfills their current needs.
In her free time, Debra enjoys going to the beach, cooking with her family and taking walks with her dog, Lizzie.
Efrain, or Effy for short, is a Level 2 stylist at Casa Aziz Salon. Effy has worked in the beauty industry for over nine years, and joined our team in 2021. He recieved his education at Innovate Salon Acadamey in Ewing, NJ.
Effy specializes in color, blonding, layered haircuts, and alternative haircuts. In addition, he offers makeup services.
Effy has a great passion for teaching and learning from others; in fact, this is his favorite part about working in the beauty industry! Every day, Effy makes it a priority to continue his education in the salon by learning something new from the team or teaching others.
Efrain is Puerto Rican and was raised here in New Jersey. In his free time, Effy enjoys painting, illustrating, and creating artwork.
Ela Cleveland is a Casa Aziz stylist who has worked in cosmetology for thirty years. She has been a part of Princeton’s foremost efforts to lead in the creation of beautiful coiffures and exquisite color creations.
Originally from Europe, Ela has a longstanding awareness of both European and American tastes. She enjoys cutting, styling and highlighting for today’s vibrant look. She has trained and been inspired at Vidal Sassoon, Aveda, Jingles, and has completed L’Oréal’s training programs as well.
Ela enjoys gardening and relaxing at her home in central New Jersey.
Ewelina is a Senior Stylist at Casa Aziz Salon who specializes in color, balayage, and cutting. After joining the team three years ago, Ewelina has flourished in the industry. She graduated from the Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School and recently earned a Sassoon certification.
She enjoys being surrounded by other like-minded, talented, and determined salon professionals at Casa Aziz Salon. Ewelina believes being in such an environment helps her learn and thrive as a stylist.
Ewelina moved to the United States from Poland, and she speaks both Polish and English. As a devoted mom of two boys, she loves spending her time outside the salon with her family.
Galyna Sarabun has been a hairdresser for over ten years. She specializes in precision cutting, coloring, men’s haircutting, updos, makeup, eyelash extensions, and waxing. She works closely with her clients to create their perfect look.
Galyna studied to become a hairdresser at Galytskyi University in her home country of Ukraine. She received another cosmetology degree from Paul Mitchell in New Jersey, and has taken many continuing education classes throughout her time as a cosmetologist in the United States. Galyna is fluent in four languages, including Russian, Polish, English and Ukrainian.
Jasmine Li is a Level 4 stylist here at Casa Aziz Salon. Jasmine, who is also a Kerastase Ambassador, specializes in both men's and women's precision and texture cutting.
Jasmine joined Team Casa Aziz in 2019 and excels in the beauty industry. Jasmine's favorite part of what she does is being an instrumental part of the transformations that occur in the salon. She finds great joy in seeing guests exit the salon feeling transformed while wearing big smiles on their faces.
Jasmine makes an unwavering effort to expand upon her education. Thus far, she's earned a Sassoon Certification, a Mizani Aircut Certification, and a Hair Extension Certification.
Originally from Fuzhu, China, Jasmine speaks four languages: Mandarin Chinese, Fuzhounese, Cantonese, and English. One thing about Jasmine is that she loves to stay busy! One of her favorite things to do in her free time is to learn new DIY projects.
Kim is a proud Vietnamese-American stylist who specializes in bringing out her clients’ best attributes through cut and color. She began her career as a cosmetologist in 1998 after finishing her training at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica and Arrojo in New York City.
Kim provides expert services in balayage, dimensional color, and corrective colors, as well as perm, body weaves and chemical texturing. In addition, she excels at precision haircutting for women and scissor over comb for men. She is sensitive to her clients’ needs and is dedicated to ensuring their satisfaction.
Kim is invested in continuing her education and has received certifications from Wella, Schwarzkopf, Alfaparf, Integrity, and Scruples. Commitment to education is just one of the reasons she enjoys working at Casa Aziz. “Casa Aziz values teamwork and collaboration, and delivers superior customer service.”
At home, Kim enjoys cooking, eating heathy foods, practicing yoga and listing to music. She loves traveling the world to experience and learn about new cultures.
Mahir Elkasri is a master stylist with over 15 years of experience. He specializes in short hair, long hair and the latest coloring techniques of balayage and ombré highlights. Mahir also specializes in ethnic hair styling and is certified in Affirm Relaxer. He has received certifications from many leading institutes, including Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Aveda, Paul Mitchell, L’Oreal, and Affirm Relaxer Company for Ethnic Hair.
Mahir’s artistic vision, technical cutting skills and meticulous attention to detail have earned him the trust and loyalty of his clients in the Princeton area.
Mariaelis, who goes by Mari, is a Level 1 stylist at Casa Aziz Salon. Mariaelis specializes in curly hair, fantasy color, and silk press.
Mari appreciates the promotion of growth and education within Casa Aziz while she expands her career as a licensed cosmetologist. She thrives in the close knit, supportive envionment that Casa Aziz provides.
Mari is curently working on her Spanish language skills, as she comes from a Puerto Rican family!
Miguel is a Level 2 stylist at Casa Aziz Salon. He joined our team in May of 2020 and has gained valuable experience thus far in his career.
Originally from Nevada, he began his career in New Jersey at Innovate Salon Acadamy. Miguel specalizes in blowouts, updos and hair coloring. He works hard to continue his education in the salon in order to grow as a stylist. He consistently strives to privide each guest with a beautiful experience by listening to their individual needs and communicating well.
Miguel is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Nicole Canavari has worked and created beautiful hair in Princeton for over nine years specializing in the perfect pixie and tailored haircuts. After receiving her NJ cosmetology license, she continued her education at Arrojo NYC elevating and advancing her craft of precision and razor cutting techniques. Additionally, she has trained with Alfaparf in surface cutting techniques, custom color formulation and is highly certified in Keratin straightening services.
When Nicole is not behind the chair, she enjoys expanding her taste pallet and cooking skills by testing out new recipes in the kitchen, and caring for her sweet doggie with trips to the beach, walks around town, and tons of love!
Richard Borusovic’s career has taken him all over the globe, where he has studied with some of the world’s top hairstylists and colorists. From his beginnings as a Vidal Sassoon-trained precision cutter to his role as a national L’Oreal Professionnel artist, Richard has enjoyed all aspects of his career. He has been both a judge and a platform artist on stage in numerous venues across the country.
Richard’s expertise is in color, balayage hair painting, and precision cutting. His approach to beautiful hair design begins with understanding the guest’s needs; he always strives to create consistent, classical beauty that is truly wearable for all guests.
The supportive staff at Casa Aziz have become like family to Richard, and have afforded him the opportunity to work with a diverse and amazing clientele.
A busy father of three, Richard enjoys spending his days off with his wife, children and pets…he has a full house!
Rosanna Hutchinson is a master stylist at Casa Aziz. A cosmetologist since 2001, Rosanna has advanced cutting training from Vidal Sassoon, and has taken many classic and creative courses in advanced color training from L’Oreal.
Rosanna gets much of her inspiration from her coworkers and clients. She enjoys combining both cut and color to create the best look for each of her clients, while taking into account their lifestyle and the hairstyle’s manageability.

When Rosanna is not at the salon, she enjoys practicing yoga, making jewelry and spending time with her family in East Windsor, New Jersey.
Svitlana Bordina has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 15 years. At Casa Aziz, Svitlana specializes in long hair designs and updos; she is also a stylist, colorist and skincare specialist. Svitlana has trained with Vidal Sasson, Paul Mitchell, Patrick Cameroon and other leading educators. For nine years, she worked as a full-time instructor at Paul Mitchell Schools.
Svitlana speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English fluently. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and pets.
Thomas Craig is a Level 4 stylist and Assistant Manager at Casa Aziz. He joined the team in July 2017 after relocating to New Jersey from South Florida. Thomas has over eight years of cutting and styling experience, and has attended Kérastase cutting classes in Philadelphia. His bachelor’s degree in fine art gives him an eye for detail and helps him draw inspiration from the everyday.
Thomas loves getting to know new people and flourishes in the warm, family-oriented atmosphere that Casa Aziz offers.
When Thomas is not at the salon, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and working on his art.
Giana is a licensed aesthetician who specializes in lash extensions, lash lifts, and tints. She is also a certified makeup artist and can be found in the salon creating beautiful looks for formal events such as proms and weddings.
Giana is passionate about her work; she loves to make people feel more confident by bringing out their natural beauty.
Giana strives to expand her education in the esthetic industry both inside and outside the salon by exploring new certifications and techniques.
